Over the weekend, Disneyland made room for its latest Disney Princesses, welcoming puppy sisters Bluey and Bingo to the park for the brand-new Fantasyland Theatre experience “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!”
The attraction opened to the public on Sunday, and in addition to new Bluey merch and food items — like a pizza baked potato and a magic asparagus pretzel — the experience includes a performance with a full live band to bring to life beloved songs from the Ludo Studio and BBC Studios children’s series, which airs on Disney Channel and Disney+ in the U.S.
“Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” features new arrangements of the fan-favorite music from Bluey — originally composed by Joff Bush — and played live by a five-piece band of guitar, drums, saxophone, trombone and melodica, along with a troupe of singers and performers. Of course, Bluey and Bingo characters are also onstage to lead a dance party to the upbeat songs.
“The energy our musicians bring to ‘Bluey’s Best Day Ever!’ is truly incredible,” says Chelsea Stevens, music producer for Disney Live Entertainment. “Music is such a vital part of every Bluey episode, and I’m thrilled for our guests to hear it for real life with a five-piece band leading new musical arrangements of the iconic Bluey soundtrack.”
At a press preview on Saturday, Billboard Family saw a lovely acoustic performance of “I Know a Place (The Creek Song)” that featured castmembers floating across the stage carrying tree and butterfly props as well as an extended version of the show’s instantly recognizable theme song, which included introductions of Mom, Dad, Bingo and Bluey as well as instrumental solos from the live performers.

Other treats during Saturday’s preview: a live game show hosted by Unicorse, the world’s cheekiest unicorn puppet, which put one of the castmembers head-to-head against the sister duo of Bluey and Bingo.
“Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” is now open at Disneyland Park at the Fantasyland Theatre.
